A former Cr mine located in secs. 7, 8 & 17, T18S, R12E, MDM, 2.9 km (9,400 feet) NW of Picacho Peak and 6.2 km (3.9 miles) SSW of Idria.
Mineralization is hosted in rocks of the Grants Pass Pluton, Condrey Mountain Schist, and serpentinite.
