A clay deposit/mine located in the N½ sec. 15, T2S, R8W, SBM, 5.4 km (3.4 miles) WNW of Chino proper (coordinates of record) and E of the Chino Valley Freeway (state route 71). Operated by the Corona Clay Company, California (1980). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters. According to Google maps, this locality is now the location of a Target store/shopping center.
Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
