Taconian ultramafic tectonic "sliver" located along a major regional thrust fault at the top of the Rowe formation, separating it from the Moretown formation. [Note: This site is a small botanical preserve, due to the calciophilic species found growing on the talc-serpentine ledges. Collecting is not allowed. The same minerals - plus others - are found at the nearby Massachusetts talc mine; so there is no need to disturb the plant community on the ledges.]
