Mary Louise Copper Mine (Bates Mine; Davenport Mine; Gray Mine; Cork Mine), Rowe, Franklin Co., Massachusetts, USA
The mine was opened ca. 1903 and worked intermittently until 1912. "Hawley Mineral Belt" stratabound sulfide deposit. Originally developed by Bates Mining & Smelting Co., of Gardner MA. The mine was operated for a few years by George H. Davenport. Also owned by Guy M. Gray (1943).
