A former Au-Ag-Pb occurrence/mine located in the NE¼NE¼NW¼ sec. 16, T11N, R14E, SBM, about 5.6 km SSW of Columbia Mountain (summit), S of Globe Canyon, on state owned, federal reservation land (Mojave National Preserve/East Mojave National Scenic Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters. Presumed to be the Frisco No. 3.
Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings (the topo map reflects 1 adit symbol labeled "tunnels" about 100 meters SW of this point).
