A former W occurrence/mine located in sec. 31, T8N, R6W, SBM, 0.4 km (0.3 mile) W of Silver Peak [2] (coordinates of record) (13 air miles W of Helendale). Owned by Adelanto Mining Company, California (1953). Operated in 1952. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in granite, limestone and schist. The ore body is a stockwork. The primary mode of origin was contact metasomatism. Primary ore control was a contact zone. Ore of the highest value was found on the granite side of the zone. Wallrock alteration is unknown (carbonate-silic.). Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.

A recently opened prospect from which a small tonnage of W ore had been shipped in 1952. No figures are available.
