A former Au occurrence/mine located in the N½SW¼ sec. 2, T9N, R6W, SBM, 2.7 km (1.7 miles) SSW of Kramer Hills (town), along the N margin of the Kramer Hills (hills), on Bureau of Land Management administered land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in hornblendite. The veins occur along N-trending shear zones. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface openings comprised of pits.
