A clay (bentonite) deposit/prospect/mine located in sec. 28, T17N, R10E, SBM, 6.9 km (4.3 miles) NW of Squaw Mountain (coordinates of record), along the western margin of the Shadow Mountains [1]. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in Pliocene lake sediments & tuff. Local rocks include Tertiary nonmarine rocks, undivided.
