The Big Slope prospect is located in the NE4SE4 Sec. 23, T9S R2W SBM, about 1.75 miles (2.8 km) northeast of Pala, on the west slope of Little Chief Mountain. The shallow surface workings are in a pegmatite deposit which is encumbered by private agricultural land. Elevation approximately 978' AMSL.
