A major dumortierite deposit and former prospect located in the N½NW¼NE¼ sec. 9, T16S, R2E, SBM, about 2.5 miles SSW of Alpine and 200 feet (90 meters) S of the Alpine-Dehesa Road.
Mineralization is a dumortierite pegmatite.
