A former small lode Au mine located in sec. 1, T31N, R6E, MDM, 3.4 km (2.1 miles) S of Shasta. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. The ore body is in a shear zone partially filled with decomposed granite. Depth to top 0.00 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include a 45 foot (13.72 meter) adit only.
