Giant Consolidated Mine (Motion Creek group), Sugarloaf Mountain (3), West Shasta Copper - Zinc District, Klamath Mts, Shasta Co., California, USA

A Cu-Ag-Au occurrence/group of claims located in sec. 19, T33N, R5W and in sec. 24, T33N, R6W, MDM, 2.8 km (9,200 feet) ENE of Sugarloaf Mountain (coordinates of record), along Motion Creek. This property consisted of 13 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in rhyolite and quartzite. The ore body strikes NE and dips W. The hanging wall is rhyolite and the footwall is quartzite. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface and underground openings, with a length of 94.49 meters, and comprised of one tunnel (adit ?) and some open cuts.
