A Mn occurrence/claim located in the SW¼ sec. 36, T29N, R11W, MDM, 3.3 km (2.1 miles) WSW of Dead Horse Ridge (coordinates of record) and 0.3 km (1,100 feet) SE of Goat Camp (Trinity County), just over the line from Trinity County and near the county line with Tehama County. Discovered 1942. Owned by G. E. Riemert and W. O. Fork, California (1974). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).
