A former lode Au mine located in secs. 22 & 26, T33N, R5W, MDM, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) NW of Shasta Lake City, along Churn Creek, on National Forest land. Property is comprised of 4 claims. Production years were prior to 1891 and 1923 - 1925. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in metavolcanic rock. The ore body strikes N30W and dips 55SW at 1.22 meters thick, 24. 38 meters wide and 1,828.8 meters long. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings comprised of 3 drifts (adits ?). The upper drift is 100 feet and is connected to the intermediate drift by a 30 foot winze. The ore shoot is 4 x 80 feet.
