A former lode Au-Cu mine located in sec. 8, T32N, R6W, MDM, 1.1 km (3,600 feet) NW of Whiskeytown, along Murderers Gulch, on National Park Service land (Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area). Property consists of 2 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in greenstone. The ore body is tabular in form, strikes S60E and dips steeply NE at a thickness of 3.05 meters. Ore control was a shear zone 10 feet wide. A few quartz stringers less than 1 inch to 1 inch wide occur in the shear zone. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 open cuts 10 feet each. Older workings include an adit and qinze totaling several hundred feet.
