Mineralization is hosted in slate. The ore body is tabular, strikes NW and dips 45E at a thickness of 0.91 meters. The footwall is slate and the hanging wall is quartz porphyry. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada) and/or Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 500 foot adit and short drifts. The ore shoot is 140 x 3 feet.
