A former Au mine located in secs. 15 & 16, T32N, R6W, MDM (coordinates estimated; sections projected), 2.0 km (6,500 feet) ESE of Whiskeytown, W of Craddock Gulch, on National Park Service land (Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area). Operated 1886-1888. The property consisted of 1 claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body strikes N35W and dips 65NE at a thickness of 4.27 meters. The deposit consists of a 14 foot vein and 3 parallel veins up to 3 feet thick. The vein was traced the length of the claim. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface and underground openings consisting of a caved adit 800 feet long and open cuts.
