A Au occurrence located in sec. 15, T32N, R6W, MDM, 3.3 km (2.1 miles) ESE of Whiskeytown, on National Park Service land (Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include surface openings.
