A former lode Au mine located in the SE¼ sec. 16 (projected), T32N, R6W, MDM, 1.7 km (5,400 feet SE of Whiskeytown, on National Park Service land (Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area). Property consisted of 1 claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in granite porphyry. The ore body is 0.91 meters thick. The deposit consists of 2 veins, one strikes N50W and dips 70E, the other strikes N27E and dips 80W. Alaskite-porphyry near the veins is sheared, chloritized and silicified. The NNW vein is 3 feet thick and the NE vein is up to 12 inches thick. Minor pyrite occurs in white quartz veins. Silicified and chloritized granitic porphyry carry no gold. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).

Local structures include a shear zone developed at depth on the vein.

Workings include underground openings at a length of 213.36 meters and an overall depth of 30.48 meters. They are comprised of a 100 foot deep shaft, 4 drifts at 110, 215, 105 and 200 feet long; and 2 adits at 80 and 100 feet long. The ore shoot developed by short stopes to the surface, shaft and adit.
