A Cr occurrence/prospect located in sec. 20, T19N, R10E, MDM, 0.5 km (0.3 mile) E of Old Mountain House, on National Forest land. Owned by George Phippen (1918- ). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Assumed spot at the center of the W½ sec. 20.
Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).
