A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 25, T21N, R10E, MDM, 2.2 km (1.4 miles) SE of Bunker Hill (coordinates of record), along Rattlesnake Creek just N of its confluence with Clarks Canyon, on National Forest land. Owned by National Merger Gold Mines Company. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Other mines nearby owned by this company include the North Fork & North Rambler.

Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
