A former lode Au-Mn mine located 2.5 km (8,300 feet) N of Canyon Mountain (coordinates of record), along Mathews Creek. NOTE: The coordinates provided by the MRDS database place this mine about 2,000 feet N of the mine symbol and name "King Solomon Mine" on the USGS topo map.
Mineralization is hosted in schist and porphyry.
