A former lode Au mine located in the SW¼SW¼ (est.) sec. 31, T47N, R7W, MDM, 1.1 km (3,500 feet) N of Swiss Bar (coordinates of record) and 2.5 km (8,300 feet) ENE of Gottsville, along Dutch Creek, on National Forest land.
Mineralization is hosted in schist. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include a SE-trending adit.
