A former lode Au mine located in the SW¼ sec. 25, T47N, R8W, MDM, 2.3 km (7,700 feet) S of Cinnabar Camp, 2 miles NNE of Gottsville, in Devils Gulch near its confluence with Empire Creek, on National Forest land. Worked initially 1878-1879, and then on a small scale until 1914. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in schist. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include several adits (3) and pits.
No records of production.
