A former lode Au mine located in the W½SE¼ (estimated) of sec. 14, T47N, R7W, MDM, 5.1 km (3.2 miles) WNW of Henley, along Ditch Creek, on National Forest land.
Mineralization is hosted in hornblendite, schist, and diorite. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include a N-trending adit at 1,600 feet long.
Production:: McCulloch, W.C., et al (1964). Reported production was some $10,000 of Au (period values); however, no specific record of production was found.
