First developed in 1909 by Maidens Silver Mining Co., two adits were driven into a hill and two shafts sunk 300 yards west of the adits. Canadian Lorrain Silver Mines acquired the property in 1922 and continued work until 1927. After that several different companies worked the property the last being Kirkland Townsite Gold Mines Ltd. in 1963. The mine shut down sometime shortly thereafter. Total production was 277,000 oz. Ag; and 17,000 lbs Co.
