A former lode Au-Pb mine located 1.1 km (3,700 feet) S of Preachers Peak (coordinates of record), N of Gulick Creek, a tributary of the South Fork Salmon River, along the Trinity County line. Claims include the Yellow Rose of Texas, Yellow Rose Mill, and the Red Friendship.
Mineralization is hosted in lamprophyre.
