A Mn occurrence located in the SE¼SW¼ sec. 17, T3S, R6E, HM, 3.3 km (2.1 miles) WSW of Zenia along an unnamed tributary of Mud Creek. Owned by Arthur Crossman, California (1974). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

The ore body strikes N75W and dips 65 to 85N. The ore consists of stains on a green and white chert body which strikes N75W and dips 65 to 85N. The deposit runs diagonally up hill for 75 feet. The average width is about 4 feet. Local rocks include Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).

Analytical data results: The ore grade is less than 3% Mn.
