A Mn occurrence located 2.7 km (8,800 feet) SSW of Pickett Peak, on the eastern side of Ruth Reservoir, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in chert. Ore is Mn stains in chert. Local rocks include Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).
