Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite, aplite, serpentinite and lamprophyre. The ore body strikes N40E and dips 40SE. Controls for ore emplacement included small shear zones. Alteration is local (hydrothermal). Gold occurs in the free state. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 4 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 97.54 meters. They are comprised of a 820 foot adit, drifts, raises and stopes.
No production record was found. The ore was low-grade and free-milling.
