A Hg occurrence located in secs. 14, 15 & 22, T38N, R6W, MDM, 5.6 km (3.5 miles) E of Ramshorn Summit (coordinates of record), along Crow Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a Hg deposit (Deposit model: 179: Silica-carbonate Hg). The ore body is comprised of cinnabar ore as fracture coatings. Little information is available. Presumed similar to the nearby Altoona Mine. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).

Related tectonic structures include the Klamath Mountains.
