A Cr occurrence/claim located in sec. 2, T29N, R11W, MDM, (located near common quarter at corner of secs. 2 & 3), 1.9 km (6,100 feet) WSW of Wildwood, on National Forest land. Owned by M. W. Collins. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in dunite. The ore body is irregular and/or podiform. Alteration is local and involves partial serpentization of the dunite. The deposit occurs in one of several dike-like peridotite bodies that are NW-trending across central to SW Trinity County. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).
