A Au occurrence located in sec. 27, T38N, R9W, MDM, about 4½ miles W of The Cedars, along Union Creek, a tributary of Coffee Creek, on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include schist of various types and ages, unit 7 (Klamath Mountains).

Workings include unspecified surface operations.
