A Mo occurrence located in sec. 31, T33N, R8W, MDM, 4.0 km (2.5 miles) S of Lewiston, along Grass Valley Creek, on the divide between it and its tributary Phillips Gulch. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 7 (Southeastern Klamath Mountains).
