Longitude: 122°32'9"W
A former Cr mine located in sec. 22, T38N, R6W, MDM, 5.4 km (3.3 miles) E of Ramshorn Summit, on National Forest land. Owned by the Integral Quicksilver Mining Co. Operated by P. C. Munko (1943). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

NOTE: The coordinates provided in the MRDS file placed this location (Integral Mine) over 1,000 feet S of the location clearly marked on the topo map. The coordinates were adjusted accordingly.

NOTE: MRDS contains 3 files pertaining to Integral operations. The Cr location is covered by file #10043493. The "consolidated property" involving an Hg mining operation is coverd by files #10040730 & 10263023. MRDS apparently has cobbed together several separate claims under the Integral name. This group requires further, in depth, research.

Mineralization is a Cr deposit, hosted in serpentinite. The ore body is podiform. The deposit occurs in a large body of peridotite that covers approximately 300 square miles of NE Trinity County. Associated rocks include peridotite. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).

Workings included surface openings. They consisted of several bulldozer cuts (1943).

Production data are found in: Wells, F.G. and Hawkes, H.E. (1965) (Cr).

Analytical data results: 1943 production: 39% Cr2O3.
