A placer Au occurrence located in secs. 13, 24, 25, 26 & 35, T8N, R7E, HM, 1.9 km (6,200 feet) NE of Virgin Creek Buttes (coordinates of record) along Eagle Creek, just N of its confluence with North Fork Eagle Creek, on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).

Reserve data: 2 unmined terraces in sec. 13 contain 100,000 cubic yards of material.
