A former Au-Ag mine located in sec. 27, T38N, R9W, MDM, about 4 miles WNW of The Cedars, on the divide between Hardscrabble Creek and Deacon Creek, tributaries of Coffee Creek, on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).

Workings include unspecified underground openings.
