A former Au mine located in sec. 16, T34N, R10W, MDM, 0.5 km (1,600 feet) NNE of Weaver Bally lookout (high on the slope of Weaver Bally Mountain), on Bureau of Land Management/National Forest wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a Au deposit in pyrite-quartz veins, hosted in gneissic amphibolite. The ore body forms lenses, strikes N75E and dips 45W, at a thickness of 0.46 meters. Gold is free and finely divided. Local rocks include schist of various types and ages, unit 7 (Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings. New workings include a 228 foot adit, which includes 114 feet of drifting, giving backs of 120 feet measured on the dip of the vein. The vein is stoped out to surface. There is also a 165 foot crosscut and 48 feet of drifts 120 feet lower.

Production data are found in: Averill (1941). No other production record was found.
