A former stone (greenstone) quarry located in secs. 10, 14 & 15, T34N, R8W, MDM, 1.4 km (4,700 feet) NE of Trinity Dam, along the Papoose Arm of Clair Engle Lake, on National Forest land. Locality is partially inundated beneath the lake. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Rock is greenstone used as rip-rap for the dam. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
