A former lode Au mine located in sec. 34, T38N, R8W, MDM (The MRDS reference places this mine in sec. 4, T37N, R8W, but the mine symbols are in sec. 34), 0.9 km (2,900 feet) ENE of Coffee Creek Ranch, E of Wagner Creek and N of Coffee Creek, on Bureau of Land Management/National Forest wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is hosted in granite. The ore body strikes NE and dips 75NW at a thickness of 0.46 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 5 (Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 340 foot adit and 200 feet of drifts. Open cuts and an old shaft 10 feet deep also present.

No production record was found. The ore was free-milling and of good grade.
