A placer Au occurrence located 5.7 km (3.6 miles) WSW of Seven Up Peak, along Stuart Fork Trinity River, N of its confluence with Salt Creek, on Bureau of Land Management/National Forest wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).
