This mine worked lodes along the railway line under Camborne town. The eastern and northern boundaries of the sett were marked by Stray Park Road, and Trevenson Street and South Terrace, respectively. To the south, it was adjoined by Carn Camborne Mine. The area is now completely built over.
The lodes, from north to south, are known as Town, Caunter, Main, Old South, Middle and South lodes. Main lode is the westward extension of the respective lode worked at Dolcoath Mine.
From 1816 to 1855, the mine produced 37,500 tons of 7.5% copper ore, 350 tons of black tin and 30 tons of arsenic. Together with West Stray Park Mine, it produced another 1,330 tons of 7.5% copper in 1827. The New Dolcoath section produced 220 tons of 8.5% copper ore and 45 tons of black tin between 1872 and 1875.
