Nissi bauxite deposit, Lokris, Fthiótis Prefecture, Sterea Hellas Department, Greece

(Κοιτάσματα Βωξίτη Νησιού, Λοκρίδα, Φθιώτιδα, Στερ)

A transitional deposit between the karst bauxites and karstic nickel deposits.
Occur either as isolated typical Ni-laterite or bauxitic laterite ores or as an association of Fe-Ni ore at the lowest part of the deposit, followed by bauxitic laterite in its upper part.
