Mineralization is hosted in diorite. The ore is of fair grade. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 5 (Klamath Mountains) and/or Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of short tunnels (some development work).
