A former lode Au mine located in sec. 21, T1N, R16E, MDM, 2.5 km (8,200 feet) WNW of Buchanan, along Hunter Creek (N of Paper Cabin Ridge; near the Spring Gulch Mine), on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 100 foot deep shaft on the vein (1935).
Some high-grade ore produced from vein. Not much development prior to 1935. No other information found.
