A reported placer Au occurrence located in sec. 14, T2N, R14E, MDM, 1.3 km (4,200 feet) W of Sawmill Flat (coordinates of record). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. Logan (1928) lists holdings of only 10 acres but the claim map (Pl. 8, Logan (1949)) shows 100 acres. PM-20 claim also listed in secs. 23, 24.
Local rocks include limestone of probable Paleozoic or Mesozoic age.
