Trial Harbour district, Tasmania, Australia

This area lies near the contact of a Devonian granite intruding Cambrian ultramafic, mafic and sedimentary rocks. The resulting hornfels and altered rocks contain some unusual assemblages including some remobilised nickel mineralisation.
