Yangchaoping Fe deposit, Dai Co., Xinzhou Prefecture, Shanxi Province, China

Banded iron formation (BIF), hosted in the top of the Wenxi Formation of the Shizhui Subgroup of the Archean Wutai Group. The main lithology of the deposit consists of mainly chlorite schist, intercalated with magnetite quartzite, sericite schist, and chlorite amphibole schist.
