Baishiquan Cu-Ni-Co deposit, Baishiquan ore district, Hami (Kumul; Qumul) Co., Hami (Kumul; Qumul) Prefecture, Xinjiang (Xinjiang-Uygur) Autonomous Region, China

The Baishiquan deposit comprises around 20 small mafic-ultramafic intrusions which are composed mainly of olivine pyroxenite, pyroxene peridotite, troctolite, hornblendite, diorite, norite, and gabbro. They were emplaced in two stages, the first of which comprises 90% of the complex. Peridotite and olivine pyroxenite of this stage are the host rocks for the ores. So far, 14 Cu-Ni-sulphide zones have been discovered, of which five are exposed and 9 are buried.
