A gold mine located near Wejh. Mineralization is an epithermal, low-sulfidation, adularia-type, polymetallic deposit. Swarms of gold-bearing quartz veins have been mined for gold and silver for more than 3,000 years. A gold-silver property closed about 1955 and reopened 1985-86. Owned by the Saudi Arabian Mining Syndicate, Ltd.
